DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS FOR INSTITUTION BASED RESEARCH (IBR) INTERVENTION

 The under listed applicants whose research proposals were selected and recommended to TETFund for funding under Institution-Based Research (IBR) Intervention are hereby notified that their funds are ready for disbursement. The conditions for the release of the fund will be as follows:

That the fund release constitutes first tranche 60% of total amount approved.
That the second (2nd) tranche payment of 40% will only be processed by TETFund when the Researcher has published at least one article of the research findings in 1st Quartile or two articles in 2nd Quartile Journals. TETFund must be clearly acknowledged in all publications.
That the Lead Researcher(s) shall be required to open a dedicated TETFund IBR account into which the bursary will credit their IBR research grant. Evidence of same shall be forwarded to us for onward submission to Abuja;
That the amount paid into the Lead Researcher(s) TETFund IBR dedicated account must be used strictly for the approved research project and these will be monitored by TETFund;

Mindset!!!

I have 25k in my account, and u have 40k. Somehow somehow, I love good things and I always go for what I want, albeit reasonably, but u always recall ur a student whenever you want to spend! I see a pair of shoes I like, it's 12k. I price and price and they sell for 8k, I pay and smile. I get a good shirt and a belt together for 5k. I see other things I like and I put them down in my "to get" list. In ur mind, You can't imagine a student wearing such expensive stuffs, but you won't tell me I'm wasting money. You don't want to spoil our friendship, or rather, you know I won't listen.

Recuperating...

The day had been a rather very tedious one, that you could imagine how happy I was to see dusk. I hated Thursdays not mainly because of the end of week tiredness, but the double periods of practicals practically sucked life out of me. As I and my group members trotted out of the lab, the excitement that greeted the arrivals into the lab had waned into tired faces and legs, eager to get back to the hostels to refresh and rest before the various night activities on campus would start. I glanced at my wrist watch and winced. I would definitely be missing the evening mass. I can't imagine myself walking any faster than I was, neither was I going to rush my food in the restaurant. "If the Lord would not understand ", I thought to myself, "then I am sorry". I excused myself from my friends who were engrossed in their chitchat and made for the restaurant.
